Daddy to the rescue! Well more aid and assist.  Bill traveled to Malaysia this past week for meetings. Aunt Roi and Uncle Pat stayed with Gramma and daddy was off for an adventure, first class.  His adventure included: jet lag, being woken up at 5:45, staying at home 80% of the time, doing dishes, eating un exciting home cooked meals in smaller portions then what he is accustomed, head butts to the gut, changing diapers, supervising painting projects, and last but not least going outside in 45 degree weather at night so as not to climb the stairs to the bathroom.  Fun times were had by all!! We miss you daddy!

Day of P's

Bill is away, Jonas is a little sick, it's Saturday and raining.  The kids have watched A LOT of tv and are still in their pj's.  We have Painted and ate home made  PoP cycles all while still in our PJ's.

What do you do on a Saturday when your house is 50 degrees?  Go to the beach with new kites!

Jonas'isms

Jonas coming out of bed for the 3rd time: my eye is hurting a lot, it's hurting a lot so that's why I can't play dodge ball.

Jonas in the car: mama I have a boo boo on my brain. I look back at him as he holds his elbow up in the air. Jonas : that's why I need to go get a cast on my hand.

Birthday PAR-TY

Pronounced PAA-TAA

Rides, horse ride, then to friends house for pizza and cake. We combined resources with two others who had birthdays, 1/3 the cost with basically all the same guest list. The important part was Zaky felt special.  And in his words : he is now 5 years old, last week he was still a little bit 4.
