Sneaking out

She's a sneaker. I lay with her most nights until she falls asleep. But some nights I get frustrated, threaten her, then tell her I'll be right back (it's worked once). These nights I don't even think she falls asleep, but I'll start listening and looking in the cracks and shadows for my little sneaker.

Pool time

There is a new some what expensive pool not one minute from our house now open. I picked up some of the boys friends and we were off to the pool. Because it's Ramadan we had the whole pool to ourselves. It was really nice. (I was one adult with 5 kids so the water wings did not come off until the last 20 minutes) you would have thought I removed a noose from their necks, the way they celebrated their freedom.
