Happy 4th of July
Short lesson of America's independence, and brief explanation of the meaning of the flags. With an equally long explination of the Texas flag and Texas history lesson (que cheers from one side of the family and rolling eyes from the other; )
Happy fourth back! Love the lesson you had them do. Texas so important in our ancestry, along most of several lines moving from South and North Carolina to Mississippi then to Louisiana. Just discovered within our family some that went Union the others, Confederate. Good to respect all our beginnings. They weren't so easy. (you may relate- so proud of you and yours) Happy fourth back!
